Our Hotel.

Your hosts, who lovingly take care of your every need here, are the Haitzmann family. Constructing the original building in 1990 as a guesthouse with restaurant, they continued to develop the business over the next 27 years, with the Salzburger Stubn finally earning 4* classification in the year 2000.

The Family.

Norbert and Martha Haitzmann grew up very close to Lake Jägersee, an experience which shaped them both. Norbert's enthusiasm for hunting and fishing was essentially there from the day he was born, while Martha, daughter of a local hunter, likewise grew up with a love for hiking and nature.

A few years ago, they discovered a new passion - they now both play golf – and that includes joining their guests every now and then for a round together.

Dining.

The delicious dishes which come out of Norbert's famously good kitchen can be enjoyed in tastefully furnished, comfortable dining rooms. From the breakfast buffet to dinner, he only works with best-quality products sourced from farmers in the region, including vegetables from the Achleitner organic farm. Specialties include wild game, which Norbert harvested himself close to the Jägersee.

And where do you wind down at the end of a vacation day spent at the Salzburger Stubn? At the cozy hotel bar, of course, over a glass of good Austrian wine.
